Austin first presented with Sensory Integration Dysfunction, Auditory Processing Delay, and Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. These diagnoses' required speech, feeding, and occupational therapy three times per week along with special education placement. He was being treated at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
